From Dublin With Love

From Dublin, With Love

Josh Wolf

Hello friends, family, supporters, critics and fellow colleagues in the media. By the time you read this I will have been here for over a week, and I’m happy to report that my spirit is strong and my body is healthy.

Losing one’s freedom is never a comfortable thing, but if one is serious, he or she needs to be prepared to sacrifice for his or her beliefs. I am fortunate to have come here adequately prepared and my spirits are high as I write this memo from behind these prison walls.

I just finished reading the autobiography of Malcom X and his strength and determination have served as a role model through my first day’s here in Dublin, and I’d like to conclude this entry with a quote from the late, great leader that hit me quite profoundly as I read it mere moments ago:

" Children have a lesson adults should learn, to not be ashamed of failing, but to get up and try again. Most of us adults are so afraid, so cautious, so ’safe’ and therefore so shrinking and rigid and afraid, that is why so many humans fail. Most middle-aged adults have resigned themselves to failure."

I am proud to say that I am not afraid and will not resign to failure and I hope I have your support in this endeavour. Please feel free to write me:
